At Anco we grow our instant turf on fumigated sandy loam soils producing a weed free, well drained turf, suitable for use in every situation. It is important to select the correct instant grass type for the site as some varieties are harder wearing or more shade tolerant than others. The high quality of turf produced by Anco does not happen by accident. We spend approximately $7000 per hectare or 70 cents per square metre sterilising the soil prior to sowing the seed. So when you are comparing turf prices for your lawn, ensure you are comparing equivalent standards of quality and service.

Santa Ana Couch - For pure toughness in hot dry situations.
Santa Ana Turf is a fine leafed couchgrass and is a warm season grass which thrives on sun and heat. It is tough and durable and looks best when mown short, 10-20mm. Needs occasional verticutting or scalping under low-wear conditions. Excellent for high wear play areas. Kikuyu - The Toughest And Most Durable
A warm season grass that thrives in sun and heat. Kikuyu turf performs at its best when cut between 25-50mm and mown short each spring to reduce thatch. Tall Fescue - For beauty and toughness
This is an outstanding blend of top-rated turf type Tall Fescue with 5% Bluegrass. Tall Fescues have a deep extensive root system which require less water than other winter active grasses and have very good heat tolerance.
