TIFTUF Research

TifTuf – hybrid Bermuda Grass

TifTuf is the result of 25 years of research and development from a world renowned, University Turfgrass breeding program. Its outstanding characteristics include extreme drought and wear tolerance. It is a suitable grass for Golf, Commercial and high wear sports surfaces and domestic lawns. TifTuf is darker green in colour than other Bermuda couch grass varieties and maintains its colour longer under drought stress. Research has also shown TifTuf to be better than other Bermuda Couch varieties for shade tolerance. TifTuf is a low input variety requiring very minimal irrigation and fertility once established.
