Oxstar is a pre-emergent herbicide and fertiliser safe for use on Buffalo, Kikuyu and Couch lawns (NOT Santa Ana).
It contains the active ingredient Oxadiazon, which acts a weed preventer.
It prevents a range of weeds including:
- Wintergrass (Poa Annua)
- Summergrass
- Creeping oxalis
- Crowsfoot grass
Oxstar should be applied in March, and again in August.
The application rate is 3-4kgs per 100sqm dependent on the type of weed to be controlled.
